I ordered these knit, wide toe, Mary Jane flat shoes, for my teenage daughter’s birthday. She loves the style, and I’m no stranger to the Dream Pairs brand (I’ve been ordering their shoes for years), so I felt confident this would be a great gift for her.

It arrived in a logo box, with a flaw in the corner (negatively impacting the gift presentation), but everything else was in great condition. The shoes arrive in logo paper, and include toe shaper paper to maintain the integrity of the shape.

Upon opening, there were no chemical or off-putting scents, and the color looked true black, just like the listing photos. The fabric feels nice and sturdy, and they feature a very strong, velcro fastener.

They feel amazing on! The arch support is good, but the cushioning is fantastic. It’s something you can wear for extended periods without feeling pain. They don’t even need to be broken in, as there are no weird pressure points and the heel and toe areas are comfortable. The size is spot on.

They are effectively non slip, and look adorable on her. So far, they have held up to her very active lifestyle. $34.99 is a great price for the comfort, quality, and cuteness these shoes offer.

  2. Kitchen Chair

These Mary Jane flats from Dream Pairs are very comfortable. The sizing is spot on, and the knit material has a lot of flex and movement without feeling loose which makes them easy to wear for long stretches. The hook-and-loop strap works well and has stayed put so far. No slipping, no constant readjusting. The sole has surprisingly good traction – not slippery, but also not aggressively grippy. That traction actually impressed me enough that I’m considering getting a pair for my elderly mother, who needs traction without shoes that grab the floor and become a trip hazard. The strap would also be easy for her as an elderly person with limited mobility and flexibility. They’re very breathable and lightweight, and style-wise they’re easy to pair with just about anything…slacks, dresses, skirts, or jeans all work. One thing worth noting is the navy color. In daylight it reads a little purple-ish, and at night it can look almost black. Depending on your wardrobe, that may actually make them more flexible color-wise, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re expecting a true navy. At $34.99 at the time of my review, the price is on the higher end of what I’d call reasonable, but the comfort, fit, and traction make it worth it. These are well-designed, comfortable flats that are practical without looking orthopedic.

Despite using the sizing chart and measuring my foot length (and ordering size 7.5 recommended in the listing on Amazon), these cute shoes were too short and did not have a wide toe box as stated. I’m returning, and ordering in size 8–and keeping my fingers crossed… I’ve ordered other “wide toe box” shoes in size 7.5 and they’ve fit perfectly with plenty of toe room.

These Mary Jane flats are really nice overall, but I’m giving them 4 stars because they run slightly large. I have a narrow foot, so I have to tighten the strap quite a bit to get a secure fit. Once adjusted, they’re fine, but something to keep in mind if your feet are on the narrow side.

That said, they’re lightweight and very comfortable, with soft padding that makes them easy to wear for long days. I really appreciate the arch support, which is hard to find in flats, and the knit material feels breathable and flexible.

Style-wise, they’re super cute and work perfectly for business casual outfits. Polished enough for the office but still comfortable for walking or travel.

Overall, I do love this brand, and these shoes are a solid choice if you want comfort with a clean, dressy-casual look. Just consider sizing or fit if you have narrow feet.

Every girl needs some black flats so when evaluating these, that’s the color I got. But now I will be going back for the other colors!

I am super lazy with shoes and prefer slip ons where I am not tying laces, and these are just as good. A quick strap keeps them on your feet with a velcro closure and could not be easier. They are airy and breezy due to the perforated fabric. The soles inside are cushy and guess what, there is actual ARCH SUPPORT! I am a girl with very high arches so most flats really don’t work for me – but theses ones do!

They are true to size, with a great fit and finish – nothing sketchy about these, they are well made and come in lots of colors. The black was a true black – when I order other colors I will come back and say if they are true to the website color!

These are great for around the house but also out and about. They have little dotted soles so you have traction on slick surfaces. Not tennis-shoe traction, but not as slippery as most flats. These are on the casual side, so you won’t be wearing them to a formal, but as the shoes you take with you to the formal to change into out of your heels? YEAH these are those.

All in all these are super comfy, especially with the arch support, and I have been wearing them nonstop for a couple of weeks and they still look and feel great. Worth the money and not nearly as expensive as some other comfort-oriented brands, so you can afford to get multiple colors without breaking the bank.
